OBEDIENCE BASICS -
CANINE GOOD CITIZEN
Our 6 week basic obedience course solves most common behavior problems. The course is designed to meet the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) standard, ensuring you get the results you need.
Many therapy dog programs, insurance companies and apartments use the CGC standard as a way to judge your dog's eligibility.
Upon successful completion of training your dog will be prepared to take the Canine Good Citizen Test, if you choose. This is a measurable benchmark of success and demonstrates the value of your investment.

Does not include Puppy Primer.

ACCEPTING A FRIENDLY STRANGER (NO EXCESSIVE BARKING)
SITTING POLITELY FOR PETTING (NO JUMPING)
APPEARANCE AND GROOMING
WALKING ON A LOOSE LEAD (NO PULLING!)
WALKING THROUGH A CROWD
SIT AND DOWN ON COMMAND AND STAYING IN PLACE (UP TO 10 MINUTES)
COMING WHEN CALLED (INTRODUCTION)
REACTION TO ANOTHER DOG NO PULLING, LUNGING OR BARKING)
REACTION TO DISTRACTION (REMAIN CALM)
SUPERVISED SEPARATION (GROOMER OF VET TECH)
